From the principals desk

Mrs. Sutapa Sahoo joined Sri Gurukulam in the year 2019 as the Principal. She has been an enthusiastic and focused teacher with over 25 years’ experience, where her teaching and communication experience played a key role in the achievements of the institution’s educational goals.

She started her teaching career with Kendriya Vidyalaya, HPC Ltd, Assam in the year 1989, after completing her graduation in B.A.(English) Hons. and B. Ed. by 1988. She then went on to teach in several other schools such as De Paul School, Berhampur and Faculty Higher Secondary School, Guwahati.

She completed her Masters in English in the year 2011. She joined St. Xavier's High School, Bhubaneswar (2004). She was an instrumental part in bringing about the overall classroom growth in classrooms. She attended several seminars on the same topic such as Effective English language teaching and Capacity building program on inclusive education.

She has also served on the faculty of reputed schools such as Mother’s Public School for 5years and Sai International School for 5+ years.

Mrs. Sahoo has been one of the most loved teachers in all the schools she’s been a part of and continues to inspire her students still. She has also been a very beloved colleague amongst her peers and has forever tried to contribute to the institution in all manner possible. She has always taken an enthusiastic stance in both academic and co-curricular activities alike and focussed on an overall growth of every individual.
